Due to the renovation works at the University Szent István Campus, the Library reading rooms cannot be accessed. The library customer service is temporarily set in office 1013, first floor in the Main Building. 

Customer Service Opening Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8.00 - 16.00
Friday: 8.00 - 14.00

Services available during opening hours:

• Registration, library card renewal
• Information on the library's holdings, subscriptions and databases
• Book requests in person
• Picking up and borrowing books that have been requested in advance
• Returning books in person, settling debts

Book loans
All our reading rooms and stacks are being closed, so the availability of our collection is limited. Loanable items can be borrowed after placing a request in advance.
Our electronic library catalogue can be accessed remotely at http://opac3.godollo.uni-mate.hu/.
To place a request, please send your library card number and a list of the documents you wish to borrow to konyvtar@uni-mate.hu. In addition, you can make a request in person at office 1013, Main Building, via our online catalogue, or via the qulto mobile application.
Due to the limited accessibility of our stock, please be sure to check our confirmation about the availability of the item and the notification that the requested items are ready for pick-up.

Loan renewals
As usual, all our patrons will receive an automatic reminder email about the due date of current loans. Book loans can be renewed in person at office 1013 (first floor Main Building), online by logging in to the library catalogue; via the qulto mobile app; by e-mail at konyvtar@uni-mate.hu, or by phone at 06-28/522-000/1173.
Once the maximum number of renewals has been reached, books need to be returned. In case someone would like to use any of the items longer, the books need to be returned in person at office 1013 and borrowed again.

Returning books, settling debts
You can return borrowed books in person at our service desk in office 1013, via the book drop box at the main entrance to the Main Building, or by registered post. Postal address: MATE Kosáry Domokos Könyvtár és Levéltár, 2100 Gödöllő, Páter Károly u. 1.
Please note that the calculation of late fees for overdue books will be resumed from October 2nd, 2023.
Please return overdue items by September 30 if you no longer need them to avoid late fees. If you still need any previously borrowed books, you may continue to use them after loan renewal in person.

Information on borrowed books will be sent by e-mail to all Patrons.
